A Dictionary of Judean Aramaic

A Dictionary of Judean Aramaic
Michael Sokoloff

Judean Aramaic is the Aramaic dialect of the documents that were composed in Judea between c. 150 B.C.E.- 200 C.E. The texts in this dialect come from various sites in the Dead Sea region, the vicinity of Jerusalem, and from Tannaitic sources (Mishna, Tosefta). The recent accurate and complete publication of the epigraphic sources of this dialect written in cursive script has made the writing of this dictionary possible.
