The second volume in the series deals with two works by two satirists: Nezed Hadema (1773) by Israel ben Moshe of Zamość (1700?-1772) and Megilat Yuhasin (written in 1834, and first published in this volume) by Mendel Landsberg of Kremnitz (1786-1866). The satirical texts are followed by introductions and annotations.
The two satires belong to two different periods, the end of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century. Nezed Hadema is to a certain extant a Maqama, but contains a polemic foundation mainly against Hasidism and moral corruption in the Jewish Kehilah. Megilt Yuhasin is a parody written like a Talmudic tractate.
