About:
Dr. Aharon Gaimani serves as the head of the Interdepartmental Division of Jewish Studies at Bar-Ilan University. Since 1987 he has been teaching in the Department of Jewish History and the Interdepartmental Division of Jewish Studies. His primary field of interest is Jewish life in Muslim lands. He has published about 50 articles in academic journals. His book Changes in the Heritage of Yemenite Jewry under the Influence of the Shulhan `Arukh and the Kabbalah of R. Yitshaq Luria was published in 2005 by Bar-Ilan University Press.
