Menachem Kellner, an expert in medieval Jewish philosophy and modern Jewish thought, is head of the Interdisciplinary Program in Philosophy and Jewish Thought at Shalem College. He taught at the University of Haifa for 33 years. Among other positions at the university, he acted as chair of the Department of Maritime Civilizations and dean of students, and held the Sir Isaac and Lady Edith Wolfson Chair of Religious Thought. He has been a visiting professor at the Sorbonne and at Northwestern University.
