About:
Dr. Joseph Menirav is a senior marketing executive and a popular lecturer on marketing and sales promotion. At a relatively late stage in his life, Dr. Menirav entered the academic world and specialized in Jewish history. In 2003 he received his Ph.D. from the Jewish History Department at Bar- Ilan University. He is currently engaged in research on market activities in Jewish society in Palestine during the Mishna and Talmud era and has published, together with Prof. Ben-Zion Rosenfeld, scholarly articles on the subject in the United States and Israel. Their book Markets and Marketing in Roman Palestine was published in 2005.
