Prof. Amnon Altman is Associate Professor of Assyriology and Ancient Near Eastern History in the Departments of History and Jewish History, and member of the Kramer Institute of Assyriology at Bar-Ilan University. His major interests lie in the field of ancient international law and diplomacy and in the history of the Levant in the second millennium B.C.E.
