About:
Professor Tova Cohen teaches in the Department of Hebrew Literature at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, where she is also director of the Program in Gender Studies. Her areas of academic specialization include 19th century Hebrew literature and womens` writings in Hebrew. She has published widely in each of these fields, and is the author of five books, an editor of several books and a guest editor of several journals. Her most recent book (co-authored with Professor Shemuel Feiner) is an anthology of 19th century Hebrew writings by women: Kol Alma Ivriya.
